Greetings-

This message is to remind you that upon returning from Spring Break our district will start Spring assessments beginning with the B.E.S.T. Writing Assessment.  The B.E.S.T. Writing Assessment is administered to all 4th-10th grade students.  A fact sheet for this writing assessment which provides information and may assist you in answering some questions can be found HERE.  The testing dates for this assessment in Liberty County School District are as follows:

* 4th - 5th Grades  -->  April 1st
* 6th - 8th Grades  -->  April 2nd
* 9th - 10th Grades --> April 7tth

All paretns of PEP and Home Education students wishing to test with out district will need to contact the School Assessment Coordinator for the school which your child is zoned for so arrangements can be made.  The School Assessment Coordinators for our schools are:

* Liberty County High School - Lisa O'Bryan (850) 643-2241

This writing assessment will be the first of our Spring assessments.  Follow-up messages and reminders will be sent out as these other assessments draw closer.  However, the Liberty County School District's full assessement calendar can be viewed HERE.
