Liberty County Schools CLOSED on Friday, October 9th

Good afternoon,
All Liberty County Schools will be CLOSED on Friday, October 9th.  Tropical Storm Isaias is projected to intensify bringing storm related thunderstorms, possible tornadoes, and strong winds to our area beginning sometime on Friday.  Many of our neighboring school districts are closing as well.  I think Thursday will be fine for us.  I will, however, continue to monitor the weather throughout the day and night and if the need to cancel Thursday arises, I will let you know as soon as possible.  As of now, school is only CLOSED for Friday.

I’ll keep in touch.  Thanks for your patience and understanding.  We want to keep all our students and staff SAFE!

Praying for LC!

Sincerely,
Kyle Peddie
Liberty County Superintendent of Schools
