Liberty County - 25-26 School and District Grades Press Release

Good afternoon!

School and District Grades have been released from the Florida Department of Education.  I am pleased to announce that we maintained our status as an "A" school district for the 7th straight year!!    

LCHS - A

Hosford - A

Tolar- C (one point from being a B)

This is a phenomenal accomplishment given all the staff changes we experienced during the last school year.  I'm so proud of our schools getting the work done in the classroom.  It is something that we are held accountable to each year, and we are succeeding!  We have some work to do get even better and I'm more than confident that the job will get done!

LCHS #1 in the state in College and Career Acceleration
Algebra 1 EOC is ranked 2nd in the state

8th grade Science ranked 3rd in the state

Biology ranked 2nd in the state

US History ranked 5th (tied with many districts)

8th grade ELA tied for 5th (with Walton) in the state

9th grade ELA tied for 6th (with Wakulla) in the state

7th grade Math ranked 13th in the state

Geometry EOC tied for 14th in the state

     

I am VERY proud of the effort of our students and staff!  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
